Producers for Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” have added Kandi Burruss, known for being part of the ’90s R&B group Xscape, to the show’s cast, Entertainment Weekly reports. Burruss replaces recently departed housewife DeShawn Snow, who left after producers told her she was “too human for a circus show,” the magazine says, citing an interview with Essence.com. Since her own singing days, Burruss has written songs for several popular music acts, including Mariah Carey and Destiny’s Child, EW adds.
