Cable operator Charter Communications said its fourth-quarter loss grew to $1.5 billion from $468 million a year ago, the Associated Press reports. Debt-burdened Charter, controlled by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, plans to make a pre-packaged bankruptcy filing by April.
