CNN will devote most of its efforts this week to covering the world’s economic troubles, the New York Times reports. The news network plans to take “cool, collected approach,” CNN president Jonathan Klein tells the paper, in contrast to some of its rivals on cable. Meanwhile, the network newscasts are looking at how the economy affects everyday people, Reuters says.
