“The Sarah Silverman Program” will be returning to Comedy Central after the network’s sister channel, Logo, stepped in to co-finance the show’s 10-episode third season, the Hollywood Reporter says. The future of the series was in jeopardy after Comedy Central cut its production budget by 20% and producers refused work under those terms, the trade paper says. Details surrounding financial responsibilities and sharing of the series are yet to be finalized, but with Logo’s contribution the show’s production budget is expected to be more than $1.1 million per episode, the show’s previous cost, according to the Reporter.
