‘Dora’ Gets a Grown-Up Look

Nickelodeon’s “Dora the Explorer” is getting set for a makeover, the National Post reports. Mattel and Nickelodeon are teaming up to give Dora an older, updated look as part of the cartoon series’ brand extension this fall, the site says. Dora, popular among the pre-school crowd, will become an online customizable fashion doll, in a move that is drawing concern about the new tween-friendly image, the National Post adds.
