The House Energy & Commerce Committee’s Communication, Technology and Internet Subcommittee has set April 2 as the date for its broadband rollout oversight hearing, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The hearing will help set conditions for the $7.2 billion in grants and loans set aside by President Obama’s stimulus package, the trade publication says. The hearing will happen in simultaneously as the National Cable and Telecommunications Association’s annual conference, held in Washington D.C. this year, B&C adds.
