Lifetime has ordered a pilot for a comedy starring and based on Sherri Shepherd’s life, the Hollywood Reporter says. The project, first developed for The CW during the 2007-08 development season, focuses on a woman who learns her husband has been unfaithful and allows his illegitimate child and the mother to live with them, the trade paper says.
