Michael J. Fox, whose second memoir is being released today, will be seen on five episodes of FX’s “Rescue Me” as the angry, paralyzed and drug-addicted lover of Denis Leary’s ex-girlfriend, USA Today reports. Fox, who suffers from uncontrollable tremors caused by Parkinson’s disease, tells the newspaper, “He’s a paraplegic, for crying out loud, and I’m a human whirligig. … A textbook case of casting against type.” Fox’s role will start with the show’s season debut on April 7, the publication says.
