MTV will air the television premiere of biopic “Pedro,” about the openly gay, HIV-positive cast member of 1994’s “The Real World: San Francisco,” the New York Post reports. Zamora worked to raise awareness of AIDS/HIV after finding out he was HIV-positive when he was 17, and he died the day after the season finale of the show, the tabloid says. The program, which tracks Zamora’s life from his childhood in Cuba until his death at 22, will air April 1, the newspaper says.
