Some of the biggest media mutual funds, including Capital Research Global Investors and Janus Capital, added to their positions of News Corp. and Comcast during the last quarter of 2008, Multichannel News reports, citing regulatory filings. Still, some of the funds reduced their positions in cable operators including Charter Communications and Cablevision Systems, the trade paper says.
