CBS’ on-demand coverage of NCAA March Madness college basketball has already surpassed last year’s totals in terms of unique viewers and consumption time, Multichannel News reports. CBSSports.com’s online streaming package has had 5.6 million unique visitors during the first two rounds of play, compared with last year’s 4.8 million for the entire tournament, the paper says. Visitors have consumed 6.5 million hours of video and audio streaming for the first two rounds, compared with 5 million hours for all of last year’s tournament, Multichannel adds.
