The National Football League said it extended its exclusive deal with DirecTV for the Sunday Ticket package of out-of-market games through the 2014 season, while DirecTV also extended its carriage of the NFL Network, TVWeek reports. Terms of the new NFL agreement weren’t disclosed; trade publication B&C tagged the figure at $1 billion a year for four years. The NFL’s current $700-million-a-year agreement with DirecTV was set to expire in 2010, TVWeek reports.
