Nickelodeon Defends Older Dora

Mar 17, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Nickelodeon and Mattel are defending an older, 10-year-old version of Dora, whom some people found offensive because she wears a short skirt revealing shapely legs, the Associated Press reports. “The Dora that we all know and love is not going away.” Leigh Anne Brodsky, president of Nickelodeon Viacom Consumer Products, tells the news agency. The older Dora wears a tunic and leggings, and is geared to look like a 10-year-old, the AP reports.
