Bill O’Reilly, whose “The O’Reilly Factor” is marking its 100th consecutive month as the top-rated cable news program, says in an interview with Broadcasting & Cable that he wants President Barack Obama to succeed. “We want to persuade him that perhaps some of his policies are not going to help him succeed,” O’Reilly tells the trade magazine, adding that while he doesn’t think President Obama is a socialist. He’s “a classic committed liberal,” he says. Asked if he knows NBC Universal CEO Jeff Zucker, O’Reilly tells the trade paper that the executive runs when he sees him.
