Satellite and cable companies are more aggressively pushing adult content as
they’re faced with increased competition from former phone companies such as
AT&T, Advertising Age reports. Last year, for instance, DirecTV quietly
ended a moratorium on promoting adult VOD content on other channels, while
Comcast may soon start promoting adult content, the publication says.
