With sales of syndicated programs having come to a standstill, many stations need to come up with plans to fill their airtime, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Some existing shows may be double- or triple-run, while syndicators are mulling selling off-net dramas to stations as afternoon strips, the trade paper says.
