TV Ads Portray Racial Harmony

A slew of new television advertisements are increasingly showing people of different races hawking products, the Associated Press says. The ads may be tapping into a desire for racial harmony after President Barack Obama’s election, or an awareness of the growth in African-American buying power, which has more than doubled from 2000 to 2007, the news agency says.
