Mayor Michael Bloomberg is spending $3 million on television advertisements for his re-election campaign, marking what might be the most expensive ad campaign in the city’s history, the New York Times reports. The ads are running on networks including ABC, CBS, CNN and ESPN, and the average New Yorker is likely to see the ads about 12 times, the newspaper says.
