Top executives at major media companies endorsed the idea of putting cable TV shows on the Internet for free, but only for subscribers, USA Today reports. Viacom’s Philippe Dauman, Time Warner’s Jeff Bewkes and Disney’s Bob Iger all discussed the “TV Everywhere” concept at the National Cable & Telecommunications Association meeting in Washington, the paper says.
