Apr 29, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Cablevision Systems said it will roll out a new $100 a month Internet service that will offer download speeds of up to 101 megabits per second, fast enough to download a high-definition movie in less than 10 minutes, Reuters reports. The cable operator is also doubling the speed of the wireless Internet service it provides to its subscribers to better compete with Verizon’s FiOS service, the wire service says.
