The FBI has issued a warning about an e-mail scam, where a message purportedly from Oprah Winfrey informs recipients they have been nominated to appear on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” the Los Angeles Times reports. Those who respond are told they must send money to pay for their travel and show tickets in order to attend the program, when the e-mail promises Oprah will give away $1 million, the newspaper says.
