HBO is working with Paramount Pictures and Robert Evans on a six-hour miniseries about Sidney Korshak, a Chicago attorney who came to Hollywood and became a fixer, Daily Variety says. The network bought the rights to the Vanity Fair article “The Devil and Sidney Korshak” by Nick Tosches, which Art Monterastelli will use as source material to write the script, the trade paper says. “You can’t tell this story in just two hours. He was such a powerful figure in the last half of the 20th century that this is the only way to do it,” Evans tells the publication.
