MSNBC Targeting Millenials

MSNBC is targeting millennials and younger viewers, network president Phil Griffin and hosts Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow said at an appearance at The Cable Show on Thursday, Broadcasting & Cable reports. That’s backed up by ratings, with the cable-news channel scoring as the top-rated news network with 18-34 year olds, also called the millennial, in the first quarter, the trade paper says.
