MTV has agreed to drop the episode “I’m a Nuyorican” from its “True Life” series after some viewers complained about its portrayal of Puerto Ricans, the New York Daily News reports. The episode featured three New York Puerto Ricans, one of whom says salsa is for “spics,” the newspaper says.
