NASA said on Tuesday it’s naming a treadmill after “The Colbert Report” host Stephen Colbert, rather than a room in the International Space Station, the Associated Press reports. Colbert won an online contest to name the room after him, beating out suggested names such as Serenity, the news service says. On Tuesday’s show, NASA astronaut Sunita Williams announced that the treadmill used for exercising in space would be called the Combined Operational Load Bearing External Resistance Treadmill (COLBERT), while the room will take the name Tranquility, the AP says.
