Olbermann, Hannity Battle Over Torture

Apr 29, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity last week offered to be waterboarded for charity, and Keith Olbermann ponied up $1,000 to be given to the families of U.S. troop for every second Hannity endured the torture, the Associated Press reports. Olbermann repeated his offer on Monday and Tuesday, but Fox News had no comment, the wire service says.

  1. Here’s a “torture” idea. How about we start giving Mamograms to suspected terrorists. Ask any woman and she’ll tell you that having your boob squeezed as flat as a pancake between two hard surfaces and held for 5 seconds feels very much like torture. Let’s do it to the guys who try to kill us and our babies. Water boarding sounds like child’s play compared to a mammogram. I’d love to see Olbermann get a Mammogram and watch him cry like a baby.

  2. Donna, I think I love you!

  3. Olberman is a notorious liar. Why accept a bet from someone you know would never pay up?

  4. Sounds like Hannity is the liar. He said he’d agree to be water boarded for charity and now he’s not putting either his money or the water where his mouth is! Come on Hannity, man up and do it if, like you say, water boarding is no big deal!

  5. I don’t think mammography is as torturous as being face up with a towel over their head simulating drowning. Not even in the same ballpark. With waterboarding, there is a chance of actual death. Mammography can prevent it.

  6. The PERFECT thing for Hannity…he’s in a room at a table with a microphone and the wire coming from it goes to nowhere…in adjoining rooms each with their own microphones, and wires to nowhere, would be Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh.
