Some Young People Tiring of Twitter

Apr 9, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Constantly social networking through Facebook and Twitter is getting to be too much for some young people, the Associated Press reports. A recent survey found a group of 7% of the population whose median age is 29 and who understand social networks and carry mobile devices but are conflicted about staying in contact using the technology. “They’re afraid they might be missing something. But we also find them yearning for a break,” John Horrigan, associate director at Pew, which did the research, tells the wire service.
