While Canoe Ventures says it’s on schedule to start its targeted-ad initiative later this month, sources tell MediaPost that the consortium is having trouble convincing television networks to sign up. A Canoe spokesperson tells the Web site that several national cable networks have signed up, although she declined to disclose details. MediaPost said none of the networks it contacted would comment.
