NESN, a regional sports network in New England, received its third-highest ratings of a Boston Bruins broadcast with its coverage of the teams’ second-round National Hockey League playoff series, Multichannel News reports. With its broadcast of the Bruins’ May 1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes, the network reached a 9.5 household rating in the Boston DMA, the trade paper says. Separately, Comcast SportsNet New England reached its highest rating with the Boston Celtics’ victory on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls, which scored a 10.1 rating, the trade paper says.
