NJ ‘Housewives’ Prove More Real

May 12, 2009  •  Post A Comment

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” may be the best installment of the “Housewives” franchise because the women it follows seem like real humans, the Los Angeles Times says. A scene in which one family prepares for a party is authentic, while the character Caroline is refreshingly devoted to her children, the newspaper says. “There’s just such a specific type of woman in New York, and then you go over that bridge and there’s a totally different model running around . . . it’s just perfect, it’s hilarious,” Bravo’s senior vice president of production and programming Andy Cohen tells the publication.
