Jun 17, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Artie Lange, the comic who’s an essential element of Howard Stern’s morning team,  won’t be returning to HBO Sports any time soon after unleashing a torrent of profanity on Monday’s “Joe Buck Live,” reports the New York Post.

Lange appeared with Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis of “Saturday Night Live” in an eight-minute segment on the program’s premiere.

  1. I was appauled by Artie Lange’s behavior, but thought Buck handled it really well. What started off as a good show with a great Brett Favre interview, ended up a disaster, thanks to Lange…too bad. He should be ashamed of himself and hopefully other networks will follow HBO’s lead and not hire him or have him appear. Talk about a train wreck.

  2. HBO bans someone for profanity? Are you kidding me? Is this the same network that brought us Real Sex, Taxicab Confessions, and is about to unleash a new show called ‘Hung?”
    Give me a break…

  3. If it wasn’t for Artie Lange, no one would even know “Joe Buck Live.”

  4. Come on people, it’s HBO and it’s Artie. If you have ever listened to the Howard Stern show, which is uncensored, It makes sence what artie did. The man makes money to make comments that way and if he offends you, don’t f*****g hire the guy to do a show. He’s the man that’s all I have to say, funny as heck.

  5. WHAT THE F@%K!!!
    This was on HBO…pay cable.
What did they expect when they booked someone from the Howard Stern show.

  6. In Kill Bill The Bride’s name is bleeped whenever mentioned in Vol. 1. However, her name appears written twice from the movie. The 1st time is appropriate correct she takes off in Buck’s truck. From the next scene, she buys a plane ticket from El Paso, Texas to Okinawa where she visits Hatori Hanzo. She says, “Okinawa, one way” to the ticket attendant, who slides her the ticket. In the event you pause the movie at this point, you are able to read the name about the ticket as Beatrix Kiddo, which is revealed to be the Bride’s real name in Vol. 2. The second time her title appears in when she buys one more plane ticket from Okinawa to Tokyo. Her name is once again visible, but not as clearly.
