Both Clintons, The Secretary of State and the Former President, Helped Get North Korea to Release Current TV Journalists

The husband and wife powerhouse team of Hillary and Bill Clinton were both instrumental in getting North Korea to release two Current TV journalists whom North Korea had put on trial and had sentenced to 12 years hard labor, the New York Times reports.

The report says that Al Gore, the co-founder of Current TV and Clinton’s former Vice President had called his former boss and asked him to undertake the trip. Clinton only agreed to go so if the Obama administration did not object, the paper reports.
