Cablevision-Owned Newsday Rejects Ad From Tennis Channel Criticizing Cablevision

Newsday declined to run an ad that the Tennis Channel wanted to place that was critical of the paper’s parent company Cablevision, says the New York Times.

Cablevision and the Tennis Channel have been locked in a dispute over carriage of the upcoming U.S. Open tournament.

The ad shows a tennis racket smashing a cable box and says: “Thanks for nothing Cablevision.”
