MTV has given the go-ahead to a new reality series from Ashton Kutcher’s Katalyst Films called "American Idiots," though the name of the show might change.

In the show contestants are asked to reenact stunts from popular viral videos that are on the Internet.

Also getting the green light is the ‘Untitled Rob Hoffman Show," a variety show that’s being billed as " ‘In Living Color’ for the digital age."

Other new shows will be "Hard Times," a half-hour, scripted, single camera sitcom, "Downtown Girls," which MTV is billing as a "reality sitcom," and "Megadrive," which is being touted as a "reality comedy.

MTV is renewing the following shows: "Is She Really Going Out WIth Him," "Silent Library," and "Teen Cribs."

The entire MTV announcement can be found here.
