Director Oliver Stone will make a 10-part “Secret History of America” for Showtime, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The documentary, which Stone will narrate, will examine events that producers say were under-reported in their time but were key to shaping U.S. history in the last 60 years, including President Harry Truman’s decision to drop the atomic bomb on Japan, internal national security battles, and new accounts from the Kennedy Administration. The project will air on the channel in 2010.
