Robert Novak, star of the CNN show "Crossfire" and one of the leading voices on the political right, has passed away after a year-long bout with cancer, according to the Associated Press.
Novak, 78, died on Tuesday. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Geraldine Novak.
In addition to "Crossfire," Novak was a familiar guest on political programs, an occasional contributor to Fox News, and for years the editor of the Evans-Novak Political Report.
