A&E Television Networks has filed a lawsuit against the production company Genuine over its assertion that A&E stole the concept for their upcoming Steven Seagal reality show “Steven Seagal: Lawman,” after Seagal and the production company had multiple meetings, The Wrap reports.

The complaint states that after A&E found out that Seagal had not agreed to work with Genuine exclusively, the network perused the actor for a reality show. Then Genuine wrote to A&E threatening a lawsuit and seeking compensation.
