TV Syndicator Dick Colbert Dies at Age 86

Dick Colbert, 86, an early pioneer of TV syndication, died of cancer Friday morning at his home in Boulder Creek, Calif., TVNewsCheck reports.

Colbert, who is the father of Program Partners’ Ritch Colbert, distributed first-run shows such as “Break the Bank,” “The Joker’s Wild,” and “Tic Tac Dough.”
