U.S. Olympic Committee Postpones Development of its Disputed Cable Network

The U.S. Olympic Committee decided to hold off on development of its own cable network, which had met objections from the international Olympics governing body, The Hollywood Reporter says.

USOC chairman Larry Probst met over the weekend with IOC president Jacques Rogge, and said later that the channel won’t go forward until the two sides have resolved all their issues. International officials have worried that the U.S. channel could hurt its relationship with NBC, the current rightsholder.
