Dr. Oz Will Still Do Rounds Even When He’s a Talk Show Star, and Won’t Use Oprah for Ratings Boost

Dr. Mehmet Oz is on the verge of launching his new talk show, "The Dr. Oz Show," and he wants it to be known that he is not giving up his medical career, and won’t use Oprah Winfrey, whose company is producing his show, to pump up his ratings, reports the New York Post.

The only time Oprah will be a guest on Dr. Oz’s show will be if there’s a good reason. "If she’s onto something America needs to hear and I can put it in a context that might make it work," he said.
