Stephen J. Davis Heads Up ‘Virtual’ Hasbro Studios

Hasbro Inc. today announced the appointment of Stephen J. Davis as president of the new "virtual" Hasbro Studios, a entity that will produce shows based on Hasbro’s brands including Romper Room, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Cranium, My Little Pony, G.I. Joe, Game of Life, Tonka and Transformers.

In addition to Davis, Hasbro Studios has added a host of industry veterans to its team. Bob Boden, currently senior VP, programming and production, Fox Reality Channel, joins as head of reality and game show development and production.

Michael J. Vogel, director of animated programming at Sony Pictures Television, becomes Hasbro’s head of boys animation. Brian Charles Lenard, director of scripted development for RDF Media Group, Pangea Management Group and RDF USA, becomes Hasbro’s head of story development.

On the business side, Hasbro named as head of finance  Mary Beth Bambridge, head of strategic planning, William Morris Endeavour Entertainment. Also, Kevin Healy shifts from Hasbro Entertainment & Licensing to Hasbro Studios, retaining the title head of business and legal affairs.
