The new-season premieres of "Dexter" and "Californication" were strong performers for Showtime, reports B&C.
"Dexter" attracted 1.521 million viewers (a total of 1.924 million counting the replay), up 19% from the season-three premiere night’s total of 1.619 million.
‘Californication’s’ season debut — the highest-rated episode ever for that series — drew 821,000 viewers at 10 p.m., a 57% increase from the season-two premiere (522,000 viewere). ‘Californication’ averaged 1.2 million viewers for the night.
