Versus, which is in the middle of a carriage fight with DirecTV, has picked up 10 episodes of “Sports Jobs With Junior Seau,” Variety reports.

The half-hour series will feature the former San Diego Chargers linebacker taking on some of the supporting roles in the world of sports, such as UFC cornerman and batboy.

The show will premiere at 10 p.m. on Dec. 2.
