Roger Ailes Declines Draft to Run for President in 2012

Oct 26, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Fox News head Roger Ailes is turning aside entreaties by some in the Republican party who want him to run for the U.S. presidency in 2012, reports Politico.com.

Ailes told an aide, “This country needs fair and balanced news more now than ever before, so I’m going to decline a run for the presidency. Besides, I can’t take the pay cut.”

  1. How dare Ailes say, “This country needs fair and balanced news more now than ever before”.
He does NOT know the meaning of “fair and balanced” in news reporting.
Ailes has made his many millions manipulating and bending the media and the information contained therein.
He should be thrown out and made to retire.
He’s dangerous for the simple reality that he can only be who he is and, like the Leopard, he will never lose his spots.

  2. LOL, ROFL, WOW!! That just made my day! 🙂 I needed a smile on my face today! You can always count on the heads of Fox News and politicians from the Right to make the most hypocritical and contradicting statements to the American public! You do that Ailes; we as Americans DESPERATELY need that ‘fair and balanced reporting’ that Faux News, (oops I mean Fox News) gives the American People!! Oh yeah and by the way, we completely understand that you simply just CAN’T AFFORD to step down and take a PAY-CUT!! BOO-HOO FOR YOU AILES!!! 🙁

  3. Love the blog here. Nice colors. I am definitely staying tuned to this one. Hope to see more.
