TLC’s ‘Jon & Kate’ to End in November

Oct 15, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Following speculation that TLC will pull the plug on "Jon & Kate Plus 8," the New York Post and People report that the show will be ending in mid-to-late November.

Since Jon Gosselin has barred filming of his eight children, TLC will reportedly use the footage that exists to piece together the remaining episodes.

The network wanted to continue the show at "Kate Plus Eight," but unless Jon changes his mind about the filming of the kids, it doesn’t look like the show would continue under any name.

  1. This is great news for the kids but unfortunately I doubt this will be the last we see of Jon and Kate. They love the limelight way too much!

  2. This was their primary support, I’d imagine for supporting 8 kids. I support them making the best of their situation to offer the kids the life every parent wants for their child. John is the biggest brat!

  3. He is going through some post reality TV fml’s.

  4. Does anyone know what their average ratings were when the show was actually doing well? There were huge peaks in the ratings as a result of first the allegations of affairs and second the announcement of their divorce. I am trying to get a historical rating analysis of the average weekly viewers for a project I am doing in school. I contacted Nielsen Ratings but they did not have the information I needed. If anyone happens to know and has a reference site that would back up the numbers, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
