2009 Best Year Ever for Food Network

Food Network had the best year in its history in 2009, averaging a .5 Nielsen rating among adults 25-54 in primetime, nearly 20 percent more than 2008.

Food Network was also up in the 25-54 $100,000K household demographic to .5, a 29 percent jump from 2008.

According to Nielsen Media Research, the network was watched by an average of 44 million persons 2-plus and 23 million persons 25-54 each month in primetime.
