Dec 1, 2009  •  Post A Comment

A past "American Idol" favorite will be starring in her own life story on VH1.

The eight-episode docu-series "Fantasia for Real" will focus on the singer’s life as she balances her career with single-motherhood and the release of a new album.

The half-hour reality show debuts Jan. 11, 2010, at 10 p.m.

  1. Are people really going to watch this show? Fantasia can’t even sell a record so I wouldn’t expect big ratings.
What’s next…Taylor Hicks’ struggle to make a living as a street musician?

  2. Taylor isn’t exactly struggling. I think he’s been doing pretty well touring in Grease…albeit singing one song. But it would be funny if they tried to make THAT into a docu-drama. I believe Taylor’s been making more money than you think just w/that show. But time will tell.
