A number of well-known programmers have deals that expire with DirecTV on Dec. 31, Multichannel News reports.

They include: Rainbow Media’s national services AMC, We TV, IFC and Fuse, as well as the regional sports networks MSG and MSG Plus, the report says,

Furthermore, "Sources familiar with the negotiations also indicate that Sundance Channel, which Rainbow acquired last year, and Wedding Central, the spin-off of the women’s-targeted We service, are also part of the negotiations," Multichannel reports.

The article also quotes a DirecTV spokesperson as saying that the parties are having productive discussions about renewing the channels on the satellite service.

  1. Who cares. Crap channels anyway. I’d tell them to go s#*t in their hats. I don’t believe I’ve ever watched one of those channels. Save the money, and lower our monthly rates !

  2. Way to focus and straight to your point, i love it. Keep up the work people. Dont let anyone stop us bloggers.
