Dec 7, 2009  •  Post A Comment

Broadband for America, a group of cable and phone networks, associations and other organizations advocating broadband adoption with the help of the private sector, has named former congressman Harold Ford, D-Tenn., and ex-FCC Chairman Michael Powell honorary co-chairs of the organization, reports B&C.

"As our country prepares a national broadband plan to bring high-speed Internet to every American, it is critical government and the private sector work together," Powell said in a statement.
