Cable Dominates Time-Shifting Top 10

Cable shows dominated the Nielsen top 10 time-shifted programs for 2009, reports Multichannel News.

Syfy’s "Battlestar Galactica" led with nearly 60% extra viewers from DVR watchers. AMC’s "Mad Men" was next with 57.77% additional viewers.

The remainder of the top 10 were: FX’s "Damages" (56.3%); "Rescue Me" (53.2%); HBO’s "True Blood" (46.9%); Syfy’s "Stargate Universe" (46.5.9%) and "Sanctuary" (45.9%), NBC’s "Heroes" (45.9%) , Fox’s "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" (45.5%); ABC Family’s "10 Things I Hate About You," Fox’s "Dollhouse" and CW’s "Melrose Place" were tied for last place (each 44.9%).
